  • Description

Originally built in 1939, this Art Deco, Midtown landmark on the corner of New Oxford Street and High Holborn, was undergoing extensive refurbishment. Set to house 95,000sq ft of Grade A office accommodation and 12,250sq ft of ground floor retail space, the building required three phases of work to remove previous electrical infrastructure and install new connections. We were appointed by M&E contractors Long & Partners to deliver electrical infrastructure works as
    follows:
    • Phase 1 – Removing the existing
    UKPN substation
    • Phase 2 – Diverting HV and LV
    cables within Dunn’s Passage
    • Phase 3 – New connection works,
    supplying the development with
    • 2,030kVA across two separate HV
    circuits
