Thatto Heath Crusaders is hoping for success this 2022/3 Season thanks to sponsorship from Warrington-based Matrix Networks providing training tops for its under 18s team.

Based in Thatto Heath, Merseyside, the amateur rugby club secured the sponsorship through Matrix Networks’ Community Support Request Fund whereby employees are invited to nominate local groups, causes, charities, or initiatives they’re passionate about, to benefit from financial or employee support. Matrix is committed to building a sustainable business and part of this means having a positive impact on the environments, people, and communities it interacts with.

The training tops will be used by the U18s Team as they prepare for the season ahead, hoping to push for League and National Cup Honours.

Pete Eccles, Thatto Heath Crusaders, said: “We’re an amateur club so rely on support from our local community. We’re very grateful to Matrix Networks for its generosity, sponsoring the Match Day training wear for our U18s Squad. The Team are enjoying wearing it out on Match Days and hope it’ll help spur them on for a successful Season.”

James Smith, Managing Director Matrix Networks, added: “Supporting local community initiatives aligns with our cultural values – Teamwork and Integrity. Thatto Heath was nominated by one of our Operations Managers as a local club he’s involved. We’re pleased to be able to provide sponsorship and wish them a successful upcoming season.”
