• Matrix Networks recognised in fifth edition of London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report
  • Identifies fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) across the UK
  • Matrix Networks is an industrial and commercial multi-utility Independent Connections Provider (ICP), servicing developers, main contractors and consultants across the UK.

Matrix Networks has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses across the UK.

To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers. More detail on the methodology can be found in the report online at www.1000companies.com.

Matrix Networks was founded by Chris Mann in 2006. As an entrepreneur with the passion and aspiration to offer something which was lacking in the market, Chris felt commercial developers and contractors weren’t getting the level of service they needed or deserved from the larger utility connections suppliers. He recognised an opportunity to make a difference and he did something about it. Fast forward a decade and through hard work, commitment and an aspiration to succeed, Matrix Networks now operates out of three UK offices, directly employs more than 60 staff and is enjoying phenomenal year on year growth, with a turnover fast-approaching £25million.

Chris Mann Matrix Networks CEO and Founder said: “Between the four walls of our offices and throughout the referrals and recommendations we receive from our valued clients, we’re proud of our Company. But it means something quite different when an independent review – an assessment of the facts and probable opportunity for our business has been recognised by an organisation with such prestige as the London Stock Exchange Group.

“We’re immensely proud to have been identified as one of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain in 2018. It is an enormous honour to be listed in this Report and I very much hope it does inspire others as they strive to achieve their own aspirations in business.”

Nikhil Rathi,CEO, London Stock Exchange Plc, added: “We warmly congratulate all of the companies identified in this year’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report. Five years on, the report continues to demonstrate the strength and diversity of British businesses across the country. These dynamic companies are the backbone of our economy, playing an important role in the UK’s ability to innovate, export and grow. This report is a significant part of London Stock Exchange Group’s broader campaign to support UK high growth companies. We are committed to championing British businesses and Britain’s dynamic entrepreneurial spirit.”
