Matrix Networks has been selected as a finalist in the Specialist Contractor of the Year (Turnover up to £25m) category of the 2019 Construction News Specialist Awards, making the shortlist from among a fantastic number of entrants.
The Independent Connections Provider made the shortlist based on a written submission and supporting evidence which was reviewed by a panel of experts earlier in the autumn. The Company will now take part in the second part of the judging process – a face-to-face interview by members of a jury which include some of the most influential clients and industry experts in the UK.
Commenting on the company’s finalist status, Matrix Networks Managing Director, Rob Sparkes, said: “Being shortlisted as Specialist Contractor of the Year is down to our employees. They’re the ones who work hard to nurture our client relationships, delivering often complex multi-utility infrastructure contracts to bring some of the UK’s most significant developments to life.
“This is the first time we’ve been singled out as a potential award-winner and right across the business, we’ve enjoyed hearing how so many of our industry peers and clients agree our finalist status with Construction News, is well deserved.”
Now in their 15th year, the Specialists Awards are both highly regarded and well established within the construction industry and this year, all firms shortlisted will also qualify for entry into a new category – ‘Outstanding Contribution to Construction’, at the main Construction News Awards in July.
The winners of the Specialist Awards will be announced on 27th March 2019 at a glamorous ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, where the industry’s elite will join together for a night of entertainment, celebration and networking.
