Matrix to Grow Network with New Sales Team

Utility infrastructure provider Matrix Networks has made a positive start to 2018 with the appointment of two new Account Managers, Stu Giles and Gordon Newman.


Joining Account Manager of two years Nayan Mehta and Sales Director Paul Beck, Stu and Gordon will be tasked with helping the Independent Connections Provider (ICP) achieve its forecasted growth of 20% in 2018.


Stu brings 25 years of experience in B2B business development roles, working largely in the electrical sector. In his early career he successfully developed the corporate sales team at Yorkshire Electricity, increasing its high voltage private customer base from 120 to 1,500 which in turn, contributed to the Company securing its position as the market leader. Gordon joins Matrix Networks from SSE Enterprise. All of his experience is in the utilities sector where he has excelled in sales, being promoted to a Business Development Manager when he was just 26 years’ old.


Both Stu and Gordon accepted their roles at Matrix Networks in the knowledge that the Company has a first class reputation for service delivery. Gordon said: “In my experience, many infrastructure companies try to either quote below the market rate, or provide a mediocre level of service, but even before joining Matrix, I was aware they were different. I look forward to being part of a company which has such as positive reputation and focusses on achieving client satisfaction.”


Stu added: “Reputation and relationships are incredibly important in this industry. I believe Matrix Networks’ unique service offering and desire to expand will come by extending its already excellent customer service, into other regions throughout the UK.”


With its head office established in Warrington, and with further regional offices in the Midlands and Southern parts of the country, Matrix Networks is well known and highly regarded across the UK for its capabilities on multi-utility projects. But now, with a larger business development team in place and as the Company enters its second decade of operation, the team will be focused on opening up new opportunities, as well as expanding existing ones.
